“Wrong” doesn’t exist when learning a language

The Crusca Academy reports this interesting list of manuals devised both for Italians who want to widen their knowledge of the language and foreigners with at least an intermediate level of proficiency.

As firm supporters of the communicative approach and, more in general, of an idea of language which is based on the appreciation and the description of the unstoppable process of evolution rather than on a cold set of rules, we have always been allergic to the normative attitude shown in manuals such as the ones in this list:
